Michigan vs Ohio State & Our 2006 Sports Dominance Curse...

The Matchup of the Millenium... (Until Nancy Kerrigan & Tonya Harding face off in the ring in Madison Square Garden)

Can you imagine with all this hype the pressure these kids on both teams must be going through?

I think it will all boil down to who chokes the least.

My prediction is Michigan will win this game & then lose the National Championship game.
It will follow suit with the success/failure of the sport dominance the State of Michigan has witnessed this year with the Pistons, Red Wings & Tigers. All these teams have fairly dominated the regular season only to lose in the post season.

All in all I don't remember a State having a year like Michigan has had this year for multi sport success’s… (Where are the Lions Matt Millen?)

YES Virginia there is a Demo Claus...

For me it's like Christmas in November...

Virginia does it for Democrats

Democrats have wrapped up their takeover of Capitol Hill by taking Virginia's Senate seat from Republican Jim Webb. The sweep is now complete, with an Associated Press survey of Virginia elections officials showing Democrat Jim Webb has knocked off incumbent Republican George Allen.

Allen hasn't commented yet. But an adviser says the senator isn't inclined to ask for a recount if the post-election canvassing of ballots shows a final spread similar to what it was Election Night.

Webb's win gives Democrats their 51st Senate seat, to go along with the House spots they sealed Tuesday. They will control Congress for the first time in 12 years.
